I'm Eleanor, a Wedding, Portrait and Agriculture Photographer
Get to know me and why I do what I do
Photography is my second greatest love, which was inspired by my first one - my family. I grew up on the family farm, enjoyed capturing the highs and lows of farming, and everything in between. Taking photo's of my family at every opportunity, I rarely went anywhere without my camera. When socialising, I was the friend always taking photo's, with a camera in hand! I, then, began to photograph my brother playing football, and it's from there "Eleanor Davis Photography" was born.
How did Eleanor Davis Photography grow?
How I got here..
It was when one of the Mum's at my brother's football match, around 7 years ago, asked me if I'd photograph her wedding. I was speechless, of course I would love to.. but was I good enough? I'd never considered doing this, so I reached out to another photographer, Emily Fleur, for her expert help. I shadowed her as a second photographer at many weddings, our friendship was born, and she's been one of my biggest supporters ever since. I gave away hours of my time photographing friends and their families. So, here I am now.
If you'd asked me all those years ago if I thought this is where I'd be, I'd probably have laughed.. But sometimes you just have to 'follow your heart' (a cliche I know!).
I have been lucky enough to capture weddings, watch families grow up and new additions join, share birthdays and much more! There isn't much I won't turn my hand to, so if you think I'm the person for you but can't see what you're looking for here, contact me and I'll be happy to help!

More than a photographer..
Being there with you on your special day is a big deal, and I am always so excited to share this day with you. I've photographed many couples get married but the likelihood is I'll still tear up as you say your 'I do's' - each time is an honour to watch and capture. Sometimes being your photographer is about more than being behind the camera all day. It's also about lending a helping hand where needed, such as helping with buttonholes, engaging with the little people, paying attention to the little details - for example perfecting the train on the bride's dress or correcting her necklace. I've even been known to be putting plasters on a bride's feet, as well as getting involved in activities - such as space hopping!! It's important that when you're choosing your photographer, you pick someone that you think you'll get on with, chat or maybe meet before your day, as you spend a lot of time together on your wedding day .
